Location:  Wherever you are!

THIS SPRING, CHANGE A LIFE.  Join thousands of people across the globe in our mission to bring life-changing clean water and fullness of life to children in communities around the world.

Walk, run, or push a stroller with us at the World Vision Global 6K for Water.  Each registration provides lasting clean water to a child, like the child on your race bib!

This year for Mother's Day, in lieu of flowers we are donating to World Vision to a clean water source for mothers like Jane.  Join us by donating or by joining the Global 6k for Water Team, as we walk or run together for clean water on May 22.  $50 provides a child clean water for life and gives their mothers the peace of mind that dirty water and the dangerous trek to collect it will no longer be a killer for their families.  Find the link below to join us or to donate.

In 1985, Jane Kipsang gave birth to her first born child, a son, and only two short days after giving birth, she had to walk for water with her newborn baby on her front and a jerrycan on her back.  She had walked for water her entire life but this time was different because of her baby.  After walking 6K to her water source, she filled up her jerrycan and, on the way back she looked to her left and looked to her right and saw other mothers doing exactly what she was doing with a baby on their front and a jerrycan on their back, this had been happening for generations.  That day, Jane decided she needed to change this for the mothers!

For the next 26 years Jane spent her time advocating, praying, and fighting for funding for clean water sources in her community, she worked with many government officials and other community leaders to make this happen.  Then, in 2011, Jane partnered with World Vision to provide the last part of funding needed to complete her water projects and see her dreams come to life.  In 2012, Jane and World Vision opened a sustainable lasting water pan serving over 5,000 people in her village in closer proximity than their old water source!
