During this season of holidays, we are aware that for some of us this is not a season that comes only with “merry and bright” but also brings a sense of loss due to recognizing some places where we are in grief. We want to invite you to participate in this worship service entitled: Christmas Service of Remembrance and/or a workshop called “Healing Through the Holidays”. Both of these activities may help us name those places where we require healing and comfort and purpose to help us name those places where we require healing and comfort from the Lord and our Christian community.
Healing Through the Holidays: Seeking Balance After Loss
This free service and presentation will be offered to anyone in our community who may be grieving during the holidays. Information regarding types of grief, tasks of mourning, and ideas for hope, coping, and healing will be shared.
