Sharing the Good News (Traditional)

Series: All the Good (Advent)

Advent is an excellent season to reorient ourselves to what is the Good News of Christ.   Even though this is an old story to share, it is a story that brings eternal consequences in our lives.

“The Season of Advent reminds Christians of the simple yet amazing salvation story, our story, the good news of God’s love for all. We do not practice advent for God, but rather for us.”

“RELIVING WHAT GOD HAS DONE THROUGH THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST THROUGH MARY AND JOSEPH, OUR MINDS AND HEARTS ARE DIRECTERD GODWARD.

This love that is received from God, produces a transformation in our lives. When John Wesley answered “Who is a Methodist?” This is the answer:

A Methodist is one who has the love of God shed abroad in [one’s] heart. This love produces two reactions: we receive God’s love and then we practice God’s love toward others.
