"He Ascended into Heaven and is Seated at the Right Hand of God the Father Almighty" (Contemporary)
It’s Mother’s Day, not usually something we associate with creedal theology. But this part of the creed does fit, in context of our inheritance. Without Christ’s ascension, there is no inheritance. It is Christ’s position at God’s right hand that opens the way for our full adoption and access to the Father. Without the ascension, we are not free to cry “Abba.”
