Plan a visit.
Whoever you are and however you come, there’s a seat for you. Here’s everything you need for an easy first Sunday — no insider knowledge required.
Two campuses, the week ahead.
Choose the campus and gathering that fits where you are. Wherever you begin, you’ll be welcomed as part of one church family.

Your first Sunday, start to finish.
Give yourself a head start
At the 1604 Campus we recommend arriving about 15 minutes early; at the Ministry Center Campus, 10 minutes. Parking is simple — one path in, one path out, with accessible spaces near the front.
Come as you are
From flip-flops to your Sunday best, we have it all. Be relaxed or dress it up — we’ll be happy to see you.
Safe & simple check-in
A volunteer will help you get your kids checked in. When facing the building, Children’s Ministry is on the right-hand side — arrive about 10 minutes early to fill out the registration form.
Coffee’s on us
Grab a free cup of coffee and a cookie on your way in. On occasion, breakfast tacos make an appearance.
Nothing to perform
Expect music — hymns and choir in the Sanctuary, a band in the Worship Center — a few announcements, and a message from one of our pastors. There’s no moment where you’ll be singled out as a guest.
We’d love to meet you
Fill out a card or registration slip — you’ll find them in the rows — and meet some of our volunteers and staff. We’ll help you find more information about how to get plugged in.
Tell us you’re planning a visit.
It’s optional — but if you let us know, one of our Hospitality Team members will be looking for you on Sunday, and we can answer any questions ahead of time.
Contact our staff
Your message will be delivered by the church website without publishing the staff member’s email address. They can reply directly to the address you provide.
Anything else you’re wondering?
What should I wear?
Whatever you’re comfortable in. You’ll see everything from suits to shorts, and nobody will look twice.
Where do I park?
Free parking is available on site at both campuses, with accessible spaces near the main entrances. At the 1604 Campus you can also use the drop-off circle by the Sanctuary, and our Cart Ministry can pick you up at your car and take you to the Sanctuary, Worship Center, or children’s check-in.
What about my kids?
Children’s classes run by age with a secure check-in system. Little ones are also welcome to stay with you in any of our services.
Is there a service in Spanish?
Yes. La Roca at the Ministry Center Campus is fully bilingual — every element is offered in both English and Spanish, Sundays at 1:00 p.m.
Can I watch online first?
Absolutely. The 8:30 traditional, 11:00 contemporary, and 1:00 La Roca services are livestreamed, and past messages are archived on our YouTube channel.
Do I have to be a member to get help?
No — and that’s true across the board. None of our ministries or programs require membership. The Food Pantry, ESL & Citizenship classes, and the Wesley Nurse at the Ministry Center Campus are all open to any neighbor. The Food Pantry runs by appointment — call 210-236-6810, option 2.
How do I become a member?
You can join by profession of faith, reaffirmation of faith, or transfer from another church. Contact a pastor or call the office and we’ll set a Sunday for you to join. Baptism is a requirement for membership in the United Methodist Church — but if you’ve been baptized in any Christian denomination, there’s no need to be re-baptized.
Is there anything for my kids during the week?
Yes — B.L.A.S.T. (our midweek kids’ program) on Wednesday evenings at the 1604 Campus, and Generations on Monday evenings at the Ministry Center Campus. See Children’s ministry for details.
