Meets every Wednesday before RUSH2O at 5:30 PM
Come on time and be prepared to worship God through ministry. Student leaders will help with other forms of visual aides for lessons, like Power Point and video presentations, help build prayer stations and labyrinths, and help with other forms of ambience and decorations for youth events. |

Come on time and be prepared to worship God through ministry. Open to all who are interested! Student leaders help to provide visual aids to the lessons through skits, dramatic song interpretations, dramatic readings, and more! Let Becky know if you can't come! |
Meets every Mondays, 5:00 PM, Michelle's office
The youth worship team helps plan and lead worship on Wednesday nights. In addition, at least twice a year, the team will help lead worship at the 9:45 AM service, with DNOW weekend being one. In the future, we hope to include the worship team with the regular 9:45 band on a more regular basis. If you want to be part of the worship team, Michelle will need to hear you play or sing so she can assess skill level, etc. Worship team members must come to Monday rehearsals and be an active part of the student leadership team. Student leaders are responsible for planning new and exciting things to encourage other youth to reach out to their friends at school and in their neighborhoods. The outreach team will also have opportunities to visit new youth visitors to the church, to welcome them into the church family, and also to partner with local ministries reaching out to the San Antonio community. |
Held 3 times a year or once per semester (fall, spring & summer). Outreach days have two focal points: (1) to invite friends from school to a church event, and (2) to give our youth the chance to be the hands of Jesus to the local community, through acts of community service.

FUNDRAISER ORGANIZER
In order to do many of the special projects that bring excitement and enthusiasm to the Youth Ministry, we must incorporate major fundraisers. The spaghetti dinner and the food booth at the arts and crafts fair are two examples of recent fundraisers. We need someone to oversee and facilitate future projects. YOUTH WORK SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
There are so many ways for youth to be involved in our youth ministry, and many youth would like the opportunity to earn the money that it takes to go to an event. But we need your help! You can sponsor the youth program by giving a monetary donation or work opportunity. Contact Becky at beckyc@nhumc.org for details to hire a youth or sponsor a youth to do a job. |
