Worship at Northern Hills
Worshiping God is the heartbeat of life at Northern Hills. We strive for services that glorify God, strengthen believers, and persuade seekers. We want worship to be authentic, dynamic, life transforming, and more than just "going to church". Worship is varied at NHUMC, in part because the people who worship here are different and diverse. Ours is not a "one size fits all" approach. We listen to people, learn from emerging worship trends, draw upon our heritage, and utilize the unique giftedness of our worship leaders - all in an effort to provide our best offering to God.
Whether you are a mature believer, a tentative seeker, or anyone in between, we believe you will find, at NHUMC, a worship hour and style which allows you to fully celebrate God's grace and which helps you grow in your understanding and love of God.
During the summer, we give our traditional sanctuary choir a break and give others a chance to participate as they are available. This summer, the dates are June 4, 11, 18 and 25. Practice is 30 minutes before the service begins. Youth entering 6th grade and up are encouraged to participate! Anthems include: How Deep the Father's Love for Us, As the Deer, One Step He Leads, and Praise His Holy Name. Please sign up below:
