Northern Hills Church is a United Methodist congregation located in the Northeast quadrant of San Antonio.  Our church is Christ-centered, Bible-based, and Spirit-led. We proclaim a simple message of the new life that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. We acknowledge the Bible as our “sufficient rule of faith and practice”.  And we are open to the leadership of the Holy Spirit in the shaping of our direction and future.

Northern Hills was founded in 1975 with 39 charter members.  Our first campus was on Higgins Road in the Northern Hills subdivision of northeast San Antonio.  In 1997, we began to realize that our location would not allow us to achieve our full potential as a congregation.  In 1999, after much prayer and consideration, we voted to relocate to our present 19-acre site on Loop 1604. The move was accomplished in May 2002.

As San Antonio continues its growth northward, Northern Hills pro-vides a welcoming and inclusive community for people who have been going to church their whole lives, for those investigating Christianity for the first time, and for everyone in between.
