Our vision is to be a lighthouse of hope to the people who live in Northeast San Antonio, and a greenhouse that provides spiritual nurturing – a church where people experience "a growth that comes from God". (Colossians 2:19)

What we mean is that we are here to help people who are far from God, but who are holding out hope that there might indeed be a loving God. That's the lighthouse. In the Bible, Jesus talks about being the Light of the world. We want you to know that no matter what you know or think about God, Northern Hills is a church where you can learn more about His desire to have a loving relationship with you.

In addition to being a lighthouse, we desire to be a greenhouse. Drive by a big greenhouse farm and you see beautiful plants growing all throughout the year. Severe weather conditions aren't an issue. These plants are receiving all the nourishment they need to grow. Northern Hills' other primary role is to help people who are committed to following Christ grow deeper in their relationship with Him.
