LEFT BEHIND BUT NOT ALONE
Ministry for widows and widowers, this group aids and offers fellowship for those who have lost a spouse through death. The first purpose is to help those newly grieved and in need of comfort and support. The second purpose is to fellowship with those who have experienced the death of a loved one. In this way, we all work to overcome the extreme loneliness, emptiness, and grief that occurs when one is left behind. We have a devotional or a speaker, then share fellowship. If you are a recent widow or widower or a long-time one, we would love to have you join our group. Bring a friend if you like.
See you then!

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS
AND SMALL GROUP
OUTREACH PROJECT
Here is an idea of a great and easy to do outreach project. Designate one day each month to bring something for the food pantry. One Sunday could be "Can of Soup Day" or "Box of Cereal Day". This will help keep the pantry filled throughout the year. For more information on outreach projects that you or your group can get involved in, please contact Jo Hess at 590-1911. |
