Have you heard about
Northern Hills Parent Fellowship?

NHUMC Children’s Ministry Team now includes the Northern Hills Parent Fellowship. NHPF is working to:

  • Increase the sense of community among our Sunday school parents
  • Improve communication between parents and the Children’s Ministry team/teachers.
  • Make it easier for newcomers to connect at church

Each Sunday School class has one or more NHPF Parent Leader(s). These leaders will invite their Sunday school class families to: a church-wide or Children’s Ministry event (like Fall Festival, Breakfast with Santa, etc.); a major NHPF event (i.e. Fellowship Coffee); and a smaller event for their Sunday School Class.

NHPF will host a hospitality table at church events to: provide information about NHPF; be a great place to find a “friendly face”; and be a meeting place for Sunday school classes. NHPF will also promote and support the Sonshine Project, an outreach ministry of the Children’s Ministry.

NHPF Leaders wear a yellow nametag with their church nametag so they are easily identified. Ask your Sunday school teacher about the Parent Leader(s) in your class or contact Britta Lafont for more information at (830) 438-5701.

EXPECTING A MIRACLE
This is a ministry that assists new parents with prayers and food. Our leaders are looking for new volunteers who are willing to provide meals or to be notified for prayer for the new parents.
